This Lithium Iron Phosphate Golf Battery has a Battery Management System (BMS) which prevents it from being damaged by overcharging.

Hyperdrive have designed a very light 4 Kg Lithium Iron Phosphate Golf Battery that will drive a golf buggy 36 holes. Just think, no back pain or pulled muscles! The scooters require 2 batterys in series to make 24 Volts.

The Hyper Drive Battery is dry and therefore can be fitted sideways if you wish but not upside down. Its size fits 99% of buggies and scooters.

  You only need to charge them the night before you wish to use them

• Your current trickle feed lead acid battery charger will work with these golf batteries if it charges up to 14.6 volts, some of the cheaper chargers will only reach around 13.6 volts.

• Normal voltage is 13.3 volts

  The battery will read up to 14.6V immediately after charging. Then it will drop to normal operating range between 13.3-14.6V. After a few hours it will self balance to the 13.3-7 range which is its normal state of charge. The maximum voltage the battery should be exposed to is 14.6V.
  
  

• Charge the Hyperdrive Battery if it drops below 12 Volts while sitting. Dont let the voltage drop below 10.5V while at rest. Permanent damage will occur at 9 volts
  
  

• To prevent accidental short circuits, the bolts where the battery connectors connect, are recessed to

  prevent accidental shorting

  of the battery. A common cause of the destruction of golf batteries is dropping Golf Clubs across the positive and negative terminals in the boot of the car.
