The Golf Buggy Battery

1. Please Charge the battery when you recieve it, and before you use it. After approximately 20 discharges/recharges, the battery will be "run-in" and will reach a higher performance level.
2. Our current battery design will cut off when it reaches a certain voltage (approx 10.8 Volts). If this happens disconnect the battery and wait 2 mins and you will be able to travel a little distance further. If this happens before 18 holes , in future follow the tips below. If you are following the tips and you are sure you recharged the battery before you played, contact us for support on (03)9462 4662.
3. Avoid unecessary load such as running the golf buggy into gutters or walls.
4. The battery will easily take a golf buggy 36 holes after it has been "run in" as in 1 above. It only takes an hour to recharge the battery to 90 per cent which should be enough for another 18 holes at least.
5. We recommend you use our chargers as some lead Acid battery chargers will not get the battery to its full potential.
6. We recommend you recharge after 18 holes.
7. The batteries will operate sideways so if the bay is made for the old lead acid tall and slim batterys just use our battery on its side.
8. If the battery is too big for your bay, we recommend that you obtain some stick on rubber feet (local Hardware Store). You can position the feet under the battery so that they just fit inside the battery bay and therefore hold the battery steady and in position. The battery can be used on its side, so its very doubtful this will be necessary.
9. Two of these batteries will drive a scooter 18 holes.
   

Never do these

1. Never immerse the battery in water, keep it under dry shady conditions when not in use.
2. Never keep the battery near hot surfaces or heat sources of any kind. Never use or keep the battery under high temperature, otherwise it will cause the battery to heat and catch fire or lose some function.
3. Never dispose of battery in furnace.
4. Never place upside down .
5. Never directly connect negative and positive with metal.
6. Never ship or store battery with metals or within magnetic or static fields.
7. Never cut through the buggy battery with nail or other edge tool.

The Charger

1. Please use the charger supplied with the buggy Battery.
2. The cover of the charger is a heat sink. Dont cover the charger with anything while in use.
3. The charger should be on at least once every month.
4. The charger has a 2 LED Display. LED 1 red(power on); LED 2 red(charging) green(full)
5. The charger will turn off automatically, if it was not connected to the battery for 1-3 minutes after it was powered on, please start it again.
