Golf Scooter Batteries

1. Please Charge the battery when you recieve it, and the night before each golf game. After approximately 20 discharges/recharges, the battery will reach a higher performance level.
2. Our current battery design will cut off when it reaches a certain voltage (approx 10.8 Volts). If this happens disconnect the battery and wait 2 mins and you will be able to travel a little distance further. If this happens before 18 holes , in future follow the tips below. If you are following the tips and you are sure you recharged the battery before you played, contact us for support.
3. One of the most important tips is to use half throttle to get the scooter moving, then use full throttle once the scooter is moving. This will greatly improve the performance by decreasing the load on the battery and motor.
4. Travel on paths when possible.
5. Avoid mud, wet or very long grass and sand when possible.
6. Remove unecessary items from your golf bag to lighten the load. You dont need to carry "practice balls" in a game. Remove the jumper you left there from last week.
7. We recommend you use our chargers, as some lead Acid battery chargers will not get the battery to its full potential.
8. We recommend you recharge the night before you play.
9. Two of our batteries connected in series will produce 24 Volts which will suit a scooter. Series will be motor BLACK connector to battery 1 BLACK connector, battery 1 RED connector to battery 2 BLACK connector, battery 2 RED connector to motor RED connector.
10. One of these batteries will drive a buggy (trolley) 36 holes.
    

Never do these

1. Never immerse the battery in water, keep it under dry shady conditions when not in use.
2. Never keep the battery near hot surfaces or heat sources of any kind. Never use or keep the battery under high temperature, otherwise it will cause the battery to heat and catch fire or lose some function.
3. Never dispose of battery in furnace.
4. Never place upside down .
5. Never directly connect negative and positive with metal.
6. Never ship or store battery with metals or within magnetic or static fields.
7. Never cut through the buggy battery with nail or other edge tool.

The Charger

1. Please use the charger supplied with the buggy Battery.
2. The cover of the charger is a heat sink. Dont cover the charger with anything while in use.
3. The charger should be on at least once every month.
4. The charger has a 2 LED Display. LED 1 red(power on); LED 2 red(charging) green(full)
5. The charger will turn off automatically, if it was not connected to the battery for 1-3 minutes after it was powered on, please start it again.
